Joe & Amanda = L-O-V-E Story, Branson, Missouri

love weddings with attention to detail, such as this was.  I also love outdoor weddings, and this was especially beautiful because it was at Bull Shoals Lake in Branson, Missouri.  It was a hot day, and the programs were just perfect as they were made into hand-held fans for appreciative guests.  The couple exchanged vows at the lakeside under the shade of lofty trees, as the beautiful Branson Belle streamed past behind them.  Then, after the ceremony, the bridal party caught a ride on a speed boat that took them to their dinner reception on the other side of the lake.  Ducks and geese make their home at the lake, and the couple placed tiny green boxes of food pellets for the guests to feed the ducks--so even the ducks got to celebrate!  ( :  Love the color pop of the yellow flowers!  And there's just something about rows of white chairs that is very classic and clean.  There are so many other nice touches that made this wedding special such as the cakes, which were made by the bride herself.  Here are just a few of  my favorites from the day....(click to view larger)!

Mounted Stand Outs

An alternative to wrapped canvases, mounted stand outs offer the eye-catching dimensionality of a wrapped canvas, without losing any of the image that is usually "wrapped" around a canvas.  (Typically, about two inches are "lost" from each side when using a wrapped canvas.)  These work very well for tightly cropped images.

Specs:
  • smooth black or white vinyl trim
  • print is mounted to 1.5" lightweight, thick foam board
  • no need to frame; standouts come ready to hang with pre-drilled holes in the back (depth is 1.5")

Tip #2 Glare, What Glare?

So, you have the perfect photograph that you want to display from your session or event.  Great!  Now you are ready to frame it and show it off!  If you are considering hanging it in a "high light" room, you may want to consider using "non-glare" glass to bring even more flattering attention to your piece.  Some classic examples include framed pictures that have a direct light shining on them (such as recessed, canned lighting above a fireplace or pictures that are hung near windows).  Just something to consider, especially for pieces that call the attention as the main attraction of the room!
